January Birchbox 2017

If you have been living under a rock for a few years, which I am sure you haven't, I will just quickly explain the concept of Birchbox. Birchbox is a monthly subscription box which costs £12.95 (including delivery). You will receive a selection of deluxe beauty samples delivered to your door each month.

It's that time of the month when I patiently wait for my Birchbox to get delivered and they have given us a box full of firsts (well, for them) which is a nice concept, new year, new products!

"There's no better time to shake up your beauty routine than a new year, which is why we've filled this months box with shiny new products to add a little joy to your 2017....."

First of all I love this months box, in fact I love that Birchbox choose a different design for each months box to match the theme, products inside or who they have teamed up with!

Each month I rotate the boxes and use one on my desk to put in my makeup essentials which I use everyday, I then use the older boxes as storage under my dressing table. The drawer design which they use each month (besides the December box which was slightly different) are so handy and can be stacked easily and neatly wherever you please.

So what did I receive this month.....

1. Merci Handy hand cream (full size) RRP £4.90 - I do love hand creams but I have a fair few tubes knocking around at the moment so I tend to get bored of them however it is a useful product that smells lovely and will more than likely end up on my desk at work.

2. Whish shaving cream (22ml) RRP for full size £14.80 - I love shaving cream but don't tend to buy it for some reason, I never remember to and just end up using soap or shower gel so I am definitely looking forward to testing this out, especially after the winter season, my legs definitely need a good shave!

3. Lord & Berry concealer crayon (full size) RRP £12.00 - Birchbox Exclusive - Recently I have been going through a bad skin phase, I have become a little bit addicted to concealer so this is a welcome addition to my collection.

4. NUXE multi-use dry oil shimmer (10ml) RRP for full size £21.00 - Now this is the only product I have received in the past in a beauty box, although it wasn't Birchbox. It's a nice product which applies a nice gentle shimmer on your skin. To me this is more of a summer product but I will definitely use it all the same!

5. Noaberry HydraPlus cream (30ml) RRP for full size £19.50 - I have never heard of this brand or even seen it before so I am excited to test this out on my dry skin.

*EXTRA* Birchbox has teamed up with Hello Fresh (a food subscription service) to give us a voucher for £30.00 OFF your first box and a £10 Birchbox shop voucher which is great! I have never tried Hello Fresh so I may consider it now as my first box would only be £9.00!

Overall I am happy with my box and I will get use out of most of the products I have been sent.

What do you think of this months box?
