One of the things I love about Winter is cosy nights in in front of the TV. I put on my fluffy PJ's or onsie if it's really cold, and create an extra layer of fat by eating too far too much junk food (this is essential to keep warm) - while watching my favourite TV shows and films.
Luckily for me, I live with a gadget obsessed man, so we have an amazing TV which is a Panasonic Ultra HD 4K TV* (this meant nothing to me before we got it) the picture and sound quality are fantastic which make it perfect for watching all of our favourite TV shows and films, especially on a cosy night in.
The X Factor, it's like Marmite, you either love it or hate it, I become engrossed in it every weekend. Then there is Strictly Come Dancing, which then makes me make a choice between The X Factor or Strictly as they are on at pretty much the same time, so I have to catch up on on of them on BBC iPlayer or ITV Player - it's a hard decision to make on a Saturday night! Also, along comes I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here which starts in November, who doesn't love watching celebrities eating a kangaroo's testicle or a drinking grub and beetle smoothie? I know I do!
Netflix virgin - I know, I know, I am behind with the times, but since being introduced to it I am addicted! So far I have watched nearly the entire series of Breaking Bad and I have just finished watching Stranger Things, both of which I highly recommend if you haven't seen them already.
And last but not least, films! I love snuggling up on the sofa and watching a good film. My other half and I have very different tastes in films but luckily for me he is quite happy to sit and watch a girly film, however before we do, he always has to check out the IMDB rating - apparently if it's below 7 it's not a good film.
My favourite films are usually girl films like The Notebook, Bridget Jones (all of them) and The Vow however if any film has Tom Hanks in it, I will definitely be watching it, regardless of the genre. He is my secret crush,
What is your favourite thing to watch over the cold Winter months?
Any recommendations for Netflix would be much appreciated too!
