Benefit - Dew The Hoola

At the start of the month I posted about the September magazine freebies on offer HERE. One of them was a sample of Benefit's new Dew The Hoola, which I was very excited to try out! The sample is a deluxe size sample (50ml), which is now discontinued as the packaging is old, however you can get the new revamped product which is 30ml and costs £22.50 from any Benefit counter or stockist.

The new packaging is much, much prettier and would look a lot nicer on your beauty table but the product itself is the same inside.

"This liquid bronzer gives your face a year-round glow without the gleam. The smoothing effects and lightweight texture melt in for a shimmerless, natural look that’s so sheer, it’ll have you saying hoola-la!
- Soft-matte finish
- Blends seamlessly
- Signature hoola-la! scent"

Usually I am not very good with cream products, I always tend to steer towards powdered products, however this product has no shimmer and has a matte effect which is perfect for my oily skin. The product has a pump which dispenses a decent size amount, you only need one pump as a little goes a long, long way, too many pumps could get you into a right old mess - trust me, I did it!

How to use:
"Glow on, gorgeous! Smooth dew the hoola on bare skin or over foundation for a seamless, natural looking bronze! Create the illusion of a more slender face by applying dew the hoola under your cheekbones and along your jaw & hairline. Finish the look by sweeping hoola matte bronzing powder all over your pretty face."
I tested the product on the back of my hand and I definitely wouldn't use this on my whole face as I have very fair skin however I would use this product to contour and enhance areas of my face. I love that there is no shimmer to this product and that it has a matte effect. It smells great, it has good staying power, it's very versatile and easy to use/blend - another thumbs up Benefit!

The samples have been coming thick and fast from Benefit, with lots of new products and packaging. I recently reviewed the new Ready, Set, Brow from Benefit's newly revamped brow collection and it has become a staple product in my daily routine - review HERE.

Have you been trying out these Benefit samples?
