I have never bought an Urban Decay Naked palette for the simple reason that I think £30+ is far too expensive, so when I won this W7 In the Buff palette on Rachel's blog (Beauty Queen UK) I was very happy as I have seen many reviews saying it's a great dupe for UD's Naked palette.
You can buy this from many many places online for around a bargain price of £4.99 (Amazon are doing FREE delivery on it too at the moment, link HERE).
In the palette you get 12 shades which are all extremely similar to those in UD's Naked palette, but can this cheap as chips palette really live up to one much more expensive.....
The palette comes in a sturdy tin case and has a double ended brush, not one of these foam applicators which you get in some palettes of a similar price, making it feel much more expensive than it is.
As I have never tried UD's Naked palette I can't compare directly the pigmentation but I am very very impressed with the colour pay off! The shades are all extremely pretty with a mix of matte and shimmery shades and they are extremely blendable. The lighter shades do need building up but I do find that in a lot of eye shadows, the nude shades I usually use as a base.
The picture below is taking in direct sunlight so you can see the pretty shimmer of most of the shades, this was after one application and they can be built up for a more intense look. The staying power is also great, my favourite eyeshadow palettes usually come from either Sleek or MUA and this beats both of these for staying power. I also noticed the fall-out was minimal too which is a big bonus!
I am very happy with this palette, it looks and feel so much more expensive than it is and it's a total bargain!
