My MUA Matte Lipstick Collection

Anyone who reads my blog regularly will know that I adore MUA (Make Up Academy's) lipsticks, at £1.00 each they are so unbelievably good value for money. Some time a go I reviewed one of their matte lipsticks in shade Wild Berry which I have no used it and need to hunt down a new one ready for Autumn, but recently I grabbed a few more to add to my collection. I reviewed Lilac Belle not long ago HERE.

L-R: Lilac Belle, Pouty Pink, Peachy Keen and Scarlet Siren.

I love these matte lipsticks because they last so much longer than regular lipsticks, when you first apply they feel almost waxy but don't let this put you off as they do soften. They are great for building up colour, you can apply one layer for a hint of colour or build them up for a full on effect!

Lilac Belle (right) is my latest addition and I absolutely adore it! I didn't think I would suit a purple lip but I am now officially converted! Pouty Pink and Peachy Keen (two centre swatches) I have to say aren't my favourite shades, I will use them but I much prefer a bolder lip and these shades are much more subtle and would suit people who prefer nude shades. And last but not least is Scarlet Siren, this is a true red, need I say more?

As you can see, some are more used than others!! I find these lipsticks stay on much much longer than normal lipsticks and I don't have to 'top up' as often. For £1.00 they are a total bargain and are definitely my favourite lipsticks at the moment.

Have you tried any of the matte lipsticks from MUA?
