TAG: Old Beauties

I have created this tag for us  bloggers to share our 'older' products, if you would like to do this post to please feel free to, you can use the TAG: Old Beauties, please link back to me and let me know if you have as I would love to read them.

As a blogger, and many of you reading this will be too, we love brand spanking new products, bloggers are like magpies (I know I am) something new is brought out by our favourite brands and we just must have it! But while I was sorting out my makeup I realised I have some very many unloved products that were once very loved! I dug them out and thought I would share them with you, don't judge a book by it's cover......the bashed exterior is hiding some gorgeous goodness inside!

The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in shade Bronze RRP £16.00.

Last summer I used this product constantly! With the different shades of bronze inside it's a perfect 'all over' bronzer, if you haven't tried The Body Shop's makeup range you really should, I have a few of their products and they are really good quality that last!

Sleek Blush in shade Rose Gold RRP £4.59.

A firm favourite in most peoples makeup bags, being the NARS Orgasm dupe at a fraction of the price, I don't need to say more do I?
Benefit Brow Zings in shade Medium RRP £23.50.

This may not be a shimmery pretty product but this has tamed my brows for a long long time, I couldn't live without this product, and as you can see I have run out of the wax but I have plenty of the ashy shade brown powder which suits my brows perfectly.

MUA Undressed Palette RRP £4.00.

When this was released the beauty world went crazy, dubbed as Urbay Decay Naked Palette dupe everyone wanted one, me included, I have used this so much, some shades more than others as you can see, and this will continue being a firm favourite of mine!
Revlon Lip Butters in shades Macaroon and Lollipop RRP £7.99.

Again everyone went bananas over these lip butters, it took me a while to be sucked in as I usually prefer lipsticks to lip balms and I thought the pigmentation would be great, how wrong I was, these beauties are really really pigmented, I have almost run out of both of them and I will definitely repurchase them for this summer.

So there we have it, my battered 'oldies' which I will be re loving!

Do your products get forgotten about and re found?

  7. I love re-discovering products! As a blogger I tend to have lots of beauty products and I seem to forget about one product just as a new one comes out. I know I should be more loyal but I'm a beauty addict!

Great post - I'll definitely be looking through my old stuff before buying new.... but then again I think I need that Sleek blusher in my life *grabs card and runs to Superdrug* Ha! Ha!
