A Product Revisited: Stila Glowing Reviews Renewal Scrub

Last March I posted about my first experience with Stila skincare. Stila wasn't really a brand I would have thought to go to for skincare but I bought a sample box from Latest In Beauty to test it out. I raved about the Glowing Reviews Renewal Scrub and I have since bought the full sized version, which I have now run out of, am I going to buy it again.....hell yes! So I thought it deserved another mention!

In my local Boots there is quite a large Stila stand but you can order online or from many websites such as Look Fantastic who have FREE delivery.

Below are two of the products I received last year in my sample set, for some reason I never got round to taking a picture of the full sized version so these pictures are from my archives.

Stila Glowing Reviews Gentle Skin Renewal Scrub RRP £16.00

"Automatically renew your skin! This mild, purifying scrub gently lifts old skin cells to reveal smoother skin. Every time. Fruit enzymes, fruit acids and gentle exfoliating beads polish skin. Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores over time. Refresh. Refine. Radiate."

So what were my first impressions last year.....

".....I have to say if you have sensitive skin this is not the product for you. I would describe this as a polish rather than a scrub, it is packed with tiny particles which are quite hard. I really love this scrub, it can leave my skin feeling quite hot and, well, well scrubbed! I only use this once a day as I think using it twice a day could be slightly too much! I really like this product and the full size is 125ml which would last for aggggges as you only need to use a very small amount at a time."

And what I think now....

I just adore this scrub, I still agree with everything I said last year, it wouldn't be suitable for people with sensitive skin but if you have oily/black head prone skin this works wonders! It's an intense scrub and I love how the beads are very very tiny but packed in, there is nothing worse for me than a scrub with very few scrubbing beads!

The full size product is huge and I would highly recommend this product for people with oily/combination/back head prone skin!

Have you ever tested out anything from the Stila range?

  2. I've never heard of this brand before, does that make me a bad blogger? haha! The products look nice though.
