3 Disappointing Hair Products.....

Some of my readers will know that my hair is extremely long and thick so I am always on the look out for good quality hair care products. Over the years I have found many great ones but here are 3 that I am not too impressed with.....

First off is from a brand I had never heard of until I was in my local Tesco, they had Girlz Only Dry Shampoo on offer for £1 (usually £1.99) so I thought I would give it a go. I am a huge dry shampoo fan and regularly use Batiste, this brand however was really disappointing. Dry shampoo is meant to soak up the excess grease in your hair, this brand did not, it smelt lovely but I really couldn't tell any difference after spraying it in my hair.

The next 2 products are from a brand I absolutely LOVE, John Frieda is one of my favourite hair care brands, I use shampoo and conditioner from their range and I also adore their 3 Day Straight which I reviewed here, with pics. Dream Curls RRP £5.29 did nothing for me, it claims to give you perfect waves and curls and it did absolutely nothing for my hair.

The next product is John Frieda Tone Correcting Mousse RRP £5.89. I suppose it's not just this mousse that I dislike but this one for me left my hair extremely crispy.....not a word anyone wants to describe their hair!

Have you tried any of these products?

Have you tested out any disappointing hair products recently?

  1. Am so confused by that mousse - how is it suppose to correct colour evenly? You just scrunch through your hair and go, sounds like a recipe for disaster.
