Stila Stand and Product Review.....

Last week I posted about my Stila sample set I got from What's In My Handbag (you can read the post here) and I have been testing out some of the products I received. Today I had a walk into Chester the city I live in and as we all do, I had a browse in Boots, as I was browsing I noticed a new stand.....

My local Boots has been having a great face lift at the moment with lots of new makeup counters and stand including Stila, Smashbox, Too Faced etc which is just fantastic! Anyway onto the 2 products I have been testing out.....

Stila Glowing Reviews Gentle Skin Renewal Scrub 'Automatically renew your skin! This mild, purifying scrub gently lifts old skin cells to reveal smoother skin. Every time. Fruit enzymes, fruit acids and gentle exfoliating beads polish skin. Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores over time. Refresh. Refine. Radiate.'

Stila Coming Clean Revitalizing Gel Cleanser 'We love the feeling of clean. You will too. With water, Coming Clean™ Revitalizing Gel Cleanser transforms into purifying lather that gently lifts away oils, makeup and impurities. Essential oils soothe and protect skin while washing. With a refreshing tingle, it’s the perfect way to get clean.'

On the right is the facial scrub and I have to say if you have sensitive skin this is not the product for you, I would describe this as a polish rather than a scrub, it is packed with tiny particles which are quite hard, I really love this scrub but it can leave my skin feeling quite hot and, well, well scrubbed! I only use this once a day as I think using it twice a day could be slightly too much! I really really like this product and the full size (pictured below) is 125ml which would last for aggggges, you only need to use a very small amount at a time.

The gel cleanser I am undecided on, the scent is quite strong, it does have the same scent as the scrub but this to me seems stronger and I can't quite decide what the smell is! It's a nice cleanser which foams up really well and again you only need a small amount but I just don't feel it really did much and kind of sat on my skin while washing my face rather than cleaning it.

Both of these retail for £16.00 for 125ml which I think is a fantastic price as, with both products, you only need the tiniest amount for each use, I really like the packaging too so I will definitely be buying the full sized scrub when my sample runs out!

What do you think of Stila? Have you tried any of their range?
