Stila Written In The Stars Eye Shadow Palette.....

Last week I was browsing ASOS (as you do) and I saw in the sale this palette.....

Stila Written In The Stars Eye Shadow Palette RRP - £15.00 and it was in the sale for a bargainous £6.50 with FREE P+P! Now, I have never owned a Stila palette before but had seen a couple on blogs and the reviews were really good, so I waited patiently for this to arrive.....

I opened the box and instantly loved the shades, they are really beautiful everyday shades with a range of neutrals (Starlight, Eden, Luna, Sun, Ray, Galaxy, Asteroid, Constellation, Pigalle, Bouquet, Heaven, Ariel).....

Excitedly (with a huge grin on my face) I started swatching the palette and the grin started fading fast, first I noticed the fall out was quite excessive.....

Then to add to the disappointment I swatched the lighter shades and they were barely visible on my arm (sad face) so I moved onto the darker shades and these were the results.....

For £15 (If I had paid this) I would expect a much better pigmentation, you all know I love Sleek palettes and they cost £7.99 and the pigmentation is outstanding, even the MUA palettes I own top this one, however I will most definitely use it for everyday looks so it will not be wasted.

I was so excited to try this but it has fallen well below what I expected which is a real shame (sorry Stila) maybe this is why it was reduced to £6.50? As I only paid that I am ok with it but it could have been so much better.

Have you tried this Stila palette or any other for that matter? What were your thoughts, if you have reviewed one I would love to read it so feel free to leave links :)
