Now Warm Almond sounds like it would be too dark for me as I usually still to the porcelain shades but it was the 2nd lightest shade and when I tested it on my hand it was a perfect match. When I use Double Wear I use the second lightest shade called Ecru.
Before even putting it on my face it has one up on Double Wear as this foundation comes with a pump, which Double Wear doesn't. You can buy a pump from Estee Lauder but as the foundation already costs £26.50 I think it should at least come with a pump!
I have done a before and after picture of my cheek, as my skin has been quite blotchy recently, so you can see the coverage.
BEFORE
AFTER
I have to say the Maxfactor doesn't feel as heavy on the skin as Estee Lauder's Double Wear which is a huge bonus, I hate the heavy feeling of foundation, this is the main difference in the foundations, oh and the price!
What do you think? Have you tried this Maxfactor foundation?
Here's a picture of my cheeky little girl Darcy, my lovely friend Nardine sent Darcy a goody box full of wonderful things.....
What do you think? Have you tried this Maxfactor foundation?

We left Darcy for not even 10 minutes with her new toys and this is what we found.....
Very cute, yes, very mischievousness, YES!
wow i really like the way your skin looks with that new foundation. With it looking that good you don't need to spend the extra £15 at all. I May have to remember this next time i need foundation. I saw your post up in the FB group page, let me know if you want to follow each other too hon

Destructive Darcy pic makes me smile everytime I see it, I am still trying to get a sample of Double wear as I really want to try it, Robert threw away the sample I found in a mag he thought it was rubbish, I wasn't happy lol. The Max factor one does look good though but I do need a really good coverage as I have a few dark marks and scars which I need to cover xxxx
ReplyDeleteDefinitely get a sample of DW then Karen as the coverage is fantastic! I LOL every time I see Darcy's pic hehe!
