What Shall I Do With This Mane.....?

I have loooooong hair, it's thick, it's frizzy and well it's just boring.

I would love to have it styled, maybe a tiny bit off the ends but wouldn't have a clue what to do? I am also scared of the hairdressers, the last time I went I had hair this length and I had split up with my 'then' boyfriend and I wanted a change, so I asked for shoulder length hair and I came out with a bob....A.BOB!! I was mortified and it has taken me about 8 years to grow it back properly!

Excuse the kink I just took it out of a bobble, this is un-straightened hence the frizziness! When I use hair oils it is much much much (yes that much) easier to maintain, I adore hair oils as they make my hair so soft and less frizzy but I just don't know what to do with it?

My hair is......just crazy.

Do you have long hair? How do you have your styled? I need some ideas.

Is there much you can do with long hair? Should I change colour?

HELP :)

    1. Fab ideas Emily, thank you. I love curling my hair but with it being soooo long and stubborn I have to leave curlers in overnight! Love a messy bun though :)

  3. You have such gorgeous hair! I'd have it trimmed and layered, with a bit of feathering around your face :)

  4. I think your hair is lovely! I get being bored with your hair though, I'm constantly there! Haha I think the colours lovely though, maybe change it with something more subtle like a different style of fringe or some lowlights?

  7. Love your hair, trim about 3cms off the ends add some layers and slightly shorter graduation around your face. Be brave and if you really don't like hairdressers take a friend with you and TELL them exactly what you want xxx

  8. I have frizzy blonde hair too so don't panic, I'd say get it a bit shorter so it's more manageable and try scrunching it with mousse so the frizz goes into a nice wave and curl xxx

  9. Maybe have alittle bit off the ends and some longer layers put in. My hair was similar to yours. All one length. Adding some layers has created body and gives my hair that sort of 'done look' even when I just roll out of bed.

Style wise, just have a play. Try learning how to do fishtail plaits, curl the ends, ballerina bun.. just play 'hairdresser!' ;-)

  11. I thin Laurens advice for styling is the best but for the frizzy ends John Frieda anti frizz oil may help you! I use it every time my hairs getting bad and it helps a lot.
