I have read over and over how the Real Techniques Stippling Brush is amazing, but for a long time now something stopped me from buying it, I thought can it be any different to a regualr foundation brush? Is it worth £12? Well as I was a good girl this year Santa (aka my other half) put on in my stocking and I was super excited to test it out.
'This dual-fiber brush is the trade secret for creating airbrushed, high-definition results with all types of makeup:
- look pixel-perfect even in harsh light
- ultra-plush, synthetic taklon bristles are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free
- self-standing for easy storage
- extended aluminum handle is light and easy to use'
So, how do you use it? Well you apply the product onto the brush and blend it into the skin starting from the centre of your face, almost using a buffing motion.....
Pictured below is after me first blending it onto my skin, still slightly streaky.....
Then pictured below is when I have finished applying it.....
Is this product wroth the hype? HELL YES! My foundation looks flawless when I use this brush, it's so soft and so easy to use and I would definitely recommend it to everyone, one tip I would give (in my personal experience) I wouldn't use it for BB cream I found that BB cream made the brush clog up slightly but apart from that I adore it! If you haven't got one yet (a lot of you will already have it) then go and get one, fantastic value for money at £1.99 from Boots, also check amazon if you are buying online as they can be slightly cheaper from there.
