Allergy Show North.....

On Saturday I went to the Allergy Show North which is the UK's largest gathering of people living with some form of allergy, I am lucky enough to not be allergic to anything but the lovely Sandra from Beauty Balm told me there would be a few beauty stalls there so I took my friend Vanessa who is caeliac (she can't eat gluten, wheat etc) and we went for a nosey!

The event was held at the BT centre in Liverpool right next to the big wheel.....

.....and upon arrival we were given a little goodie bag filled with gluten free snacks which to my surprise were yum. As Vanessa filled her face with gluten free goodies I went to find the beauty stalls and the first I came across was Freyaluna.....

The stall was sooo pretty and had some fabulous bits and pieces but unfortunately the ladies running the stall didn't really engage with me when I needed some help deciding on what I wanted so I didn't buy anything. Then of I went in search of more beauty stands (Vanessa is still eating or drinking beer) and I found a vitamin stall that sold these.....

One of my fave bargain cleansers - Dr Bronners Magic Soap which I have reviewed many times here. He was selling these beauties for £1.50 each (I have been paying around £3+ online) so I stocked up on a few bottles of peppermint which will last me forever!!

Then I spotted this stand.....

Lavera - I didn't know Lavera did makeup I just thought they did creams etc since I have received a Lavera hand cream in a beauty box and also from Latest in Beauty. The makeup I have to say looked fab and for the price you got quite a lot of it gram wise!

I was eyeing up the lipsticks (£11 each) which the lovely Lavera lady was explaining to me that they are full of bees wax making them long lasting, I very nearly bought one but I am trying extremely hard to save pennies for Christmas!

All in all we had a great free day out, we got to eat some yummy food and we got to sample some other lovely things, then we went for wine in Liverpool! The Allergy Show is held yearly in London and Liverpool and you can get tickets for free before the show.

Do you have an allergy that means you have to buy different foods or beauty products?
