Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain In Crush......

I am slightly late on this hype that has been sweeping the beauty world, I had looked at the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains when they first came out but the lighter shades (ones I would usually go for) and they didn't blow me away so I never bought one, that is until a weeks or so ago, I was doing a swap with a lovely lady called Steph on Beauty Box Swaps and she had this one.....

Crush - This is not a shade I would ever pick up for myself but I really liked it so we did a swap. When it arrived I still thought it was gorgeous but not my shade, it's almost a plum shade on the skin, a deep pink with purple undertones I would say.

To apply, these stains are extremely moisturising, the only one downside I would say about the application is that you definitely need to use a lip liner as I found with this shade with it being so dark it can bleed slightly but that's not a huge problem.....

Surprisingly I really like the shade and think it suits me, I think you just have to be brave and get used to different shades! I have been wearing it for 4 hours now and it is still going strong!! What do you think.....?

Excuse the rest of my makeup I got to excited to test this out and forgot about the rest of my face haha!!

Have you tried any of these stains yet?

  2. I agree, it definitely suits you! I really want to try and wear bolder lip colours like bright pinks and deep berry tones, but then I end up settling for another variation on the same kind of lipstick I always buy....

  5. Gorgeous colour and it really suits you. I am very wary of dark lip colours, I don't think they suit me but very tempted to try this :)
