17 Magnetised Nail Polish

Hurray I finally managed to get hold of some 17 magnetised polish, I have heard great things about it and wanted to try it for myself. There are 4 shades to chose from and I opted for shade lilac, i'm not to sure what the others are called but they have a grey, a blue and a dark green. Boots do 3 for 2 on most makeup but I am trying not to buy any more polish for a while as I have tons but I made an exception for this. It was £5.99.

When your nail is still wet you hover over the magnet (included with the polish) and it creates a 'magnetised' effect, you do one nail at a time.....

It's quite hard to photograph but trust me it looks really good and very different. It took me a couple of attempts to get it right, I kept holding the magnet to close and touching my freshly painted nails *oooppppsss*. I also found that the thicker you put it on the better it works, so one thick coat is plenty.

I will definitely be buying the other shades, I am really not very good at nail art so anything that makes my nails look different with minimal effort gets my thumbs up and my money!! Nails Inc do a magnetised polish too but this comes in at £13.00!! Well done 17 an affordable way to have gorgeous nails!!

Have you tried this yet? Do you like the look?

  1. I love this effect but I can barely paint my nails a normal colour so I would find it impossible if a magnet was involved. Such a bargain for a nail polish though, compared to the nails inc version. I'm sorry that you're working and so not going to the motel event :(! I don't mind if you only have one tattoo to show off, I just enjoy posting people's tattoos and their personal meanings behind them. Well, if you want to guest post I would be more than happy to have you there :)!

  2. Honestly Sarah it is sooooo easy, you paint your nails as usualy and hold a magnet above them while they are wet, the magnet has a 'steadier' haha to stop you from supposidly touching your nails but me being me I still did, but it easy :) I promise.

I have never done a guest post before so don't have a clue where to start, if you could email me and maybe we could do guest posts for eachother?
